Made Me, Sustains Me - 2017

Culminating Thesis Project for the Master of Fine Art Degree

Two identically sized (4’x5’x8’) houses made of opposing materials. One brightly woven in yarn and filled with pillows; an inviting atmosphere surrounded by white wood. The second made of rusted metal housing a black dirt filled interior; the sound of chalk scratching tally marks on the walls echoes counting the days lived inside. A personal narrative exposed in two homes; one that Made Me and one that Sustains Me.
